New York Online Sales Tax

Beginning this month (June 1), NYS requires online vendors to charge NYS residents a tax.  Needless to say, I was peeved.  Considering elections are coming up, I decided to figure out who voted for the law.  It took me awhile to find out but after a help from a friend and then going to Project Vote Smart and calling the hotline, I finally found out who voted for it!

Anywho, here is the link to the law (S06807) and who voted for it.

Getting back into the swing of things

I came back from Cali last week and am in the process of recovering from jet lag and getting back into the swing of things.  In hindsight, I probably should have waited a week to go to Cali.  Anywho, here are things that I need to get done (in order):

  1. Masters Capstone
    • Finish Final Write Up
    • Upload demo
    • Finish up writing on blog
  2. Work on my Flash Portfolio
  3. Look for job
  4. Have lunch with people
  5. Get websites up to date and start to build online presence/identity

The first three are the most important and I will be working in the next few days to get stuff done.  Time for some tough love!
