it’s back! it’s back!
Woot! The customer service people at Bigelow Chemists sent me an email stating that “My Favorite Lip Balm” is back! Woot!
And now to see if Bath and Body Works has it…
to join or not to join?
So recently I jumped on the Tumblr bandwagon. I really like it for it’s simplicity and ease of posting things. To me it offers people another insight on what I browse on the web or find interesting.
Social networking is a very interesting area to me. The possibilities of it are great. However, it can be a little too much for me.
Contrary to popular belief, I am a geek who can go without the Internet for more than a week.
I’ve joined a lot of websites that are geared towards social networking. Some I joined to stay in touch with family and friends and others out of sheer curiousity.
So what type of networks am I in? And what have I tried?
Here’s the current list:
- MySpace – It is very hard to find me; I generally use this to stay in touch with my family; If you want to add me as a friend, contact me. I only add people I know.
- Facebook - I use to like it; But now people are turning into Facebook App whores! I’m sick and tired of the the “Invites” and “Challenges”.
- Xanga – yup, my first blog. I don’t use it anymore.
- WordPress – I have 3. One is via wordpress.com – which I don’t use. Then there are the two that I host. One is personal and the other for my capstone.
- Blogger – I tried it. It was okay. I like wordpress better.
- Tumblr – Love it
- LinkedIn – It’s for the job aspect
- Flickr – I have an account – but I’m still not sure about it.
I have yet to jump on the bandwagon of Flickr. I’m still trying to figure out if I want to post my artwork and whether to put a big fat copyright line on the picture. The whole Flickr aspect is something I will delve into a later post.
One thing I’ve been toying is joining Twitter. Hmm…it will be interesting. Guess I’m gonna try it out.

I’ve been wanting an Apple computer for 3 years now (and counting)…
Arden, Azura, and being sick
I’m sick of tired being sick. Two weeks ago- I was half sick. I was somewhat sick with a sinus infection. I didn’t have a full blown one – but it was enough to the point that I was exhausted and not up to my usual par.
Yesterday, I hung out with one of my knuckleheads – Vivian aka Arden. We were supposed to be productive and go to the library but we ended up just chillin in her room, talking, and watching Friends. She even cooked me some yummy lunch! Of course this was when I started to feel sick. I had a little cough and now today – I am full blown sick with a wicked cough, a stuffy nose, a sore throat, and chest pain.
Funny thing was I book an appointment with my doctor for a check up tomorrow a couple of weeks ago. Talk about killing a bird with two stones!
Happy Birthday to my little Azura! Wishing you the best this day. Sorry we couldn’t talk much.
