Merry Christmas!

Hi all,

I don’t know about you but my tummy is happy and I received great gifts this year.  I am truly blessed to be surrounded by wonderful people.  Thanks everyone!

The past few days have been a period of rest, relaxation, and reflection.

So much stuff to do and so little time.  Time to start a list and get my priorities in order.  More details to come at a later date.

The search for a new lip balm

I love having soft non-chapped lips.  However, the past year I’ve realized I have become allergic to Burt Bee’s.  I don’t know why but whenever I use it, my lips feels “bumpy”.   It’s a shame really, I loved that lip balm.

For the past few months, I’ve been on the search for my new favorite lip balm.  I’ve looked online for ideas and such.  One website suggested Philosophy’s Kiss Me.  So I bought one.  After using it for a week, it doesn’t really suit my needs.  For one thing, it’s a little hard unless you happen to leave it in your pocket to warm it up so that it can be smoothed on the lips.  In addition, the taste is weird.  I prefer my lip balm to either taste fruity or nothing at all.  Philosophy’s Kiss Me – well it has no taste per say but it didn’t feel right.

Months ago I bought C.O. Bigelow’s Mentha Lipshine from Bath and Body Works.  It has a peppermint flavor but it’s shiny.

There are days where I don’t want glossy lips.

So I continue my search for a non-shiny lip balm.  I was in Bath and Body Works a couple of weeks ago and happen to see that C.O. Bigelow made just regular lip balm.  Not shiny and contains sunscreen.  I decided to pick one up and found that I love it!  It is now my new favorite lip balm!  Doesn’t taste like anything and is perfect.  However, I lost it and all the stores are currently sold out.

This blows monkey chow.

It’s official!

It’s official!  I love tumblr.   Therefore, I will be keeping two blogs.  My tumblr blog will be more personal thoughts/random stuff (i.e. videos that I find amusing, quotes, and links) while this blog will be my two cents (such as reviews and commentary) on things (i.e. technology related, health, etc).  I guess this blog will be less personal and slightly more professional.
