A few days ago (11/27 to be exact), I turned 25. I am now a quarter of a century old! I can rent cars for a normal price!
I would like to thank everyone for the birthday wishes! Thanks to Mark, Matt, Vivian, Jess, Betty, and Rick for spending time with me yesterday and helping to celebrate it.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. My brother gave me a call to wish me one and asked if I was going out on Black Friday. I said “Do I look crazy?? Hell no! I like to keep my sanity, you know!”
I don’t understand Black Friday. Why do retailers insist on having so sales that lead to mass chaos? What is the point? I would rather pay the extra 10 bucks to stay home and be with family and friends then go out and stand in line since midnight. Geez people! It’s just not worth it!
What happened to Thanksgiving and being with family? Now it’s all about plotting for Black Friday. Oiy I know some people find it fun, but there are those who are uberly competitive and gets very….touchy.
Got A’s in both of my classes. I am officially done with classes! Woot! I submitted in my capstone proposal to my dept chair and waiting for the final thumbs up from her. Hopefully all goes well.
Classes are done. Final project are done…well sorta. I submitted my php project 7 hours before it was due. Went back to check it the next day and found that some parts of it for broken. I finished my capstone proposal and now I am awaiting to get the some final thumbs up from my committee as well as my department chair.
I was debating on whether I should work to get some extra cash during my two weeks off and I realize I needed a break. I need some Kim time. I have so much stuff I need to get done over the next two weeks. In addition, I realize grad school has made me stupider! In the sense, that my vocab skills are wacky for the past year and a half. Going to graduate school at RIT has been a killer. My brain needs to relax.
